2018 (3 weeks for designing and making)

 

​Arrival was aimed to show my journey from Japan to London. This was more about myself instead of making a new character. So, I've decided to make a huge painting to illustrate how I felt in London after  I left home country, and make a kimono gown with that painting on the back to represent Japan culture. Those hands are trying to catch roses which represents Europe and those waves which are inspires by Hokusai represents Japan. Coming to Europe was a huge dream since I did feel uncomfortable with being in Japan, so I tried to show that emotion through illustration. Red, blue, and yellow are my favorite colours. So, I put my emotion within the flower language with those colours.

衣装プロジェクト

2018 (デザインと制作担当　制作期間：3週間）

 

Arrivalは日本からロンドンにかけての私自身の旅を伝えるのを目的に制作されました。通常ならキャラクター制作から入る衣装デザインを、今回は自分自身についてからスタートし手掛けました。背中にある大きなペイントは日本を離れてどう感じているかを表現しており、着物ガウンは日本人である事を表しています。中央にある手は薔薇（ヨーロッパ）をつかもうとしており、下の北斎からインスプレーションを得た波（日本）から逃げ出そうとしている様子を表現しています。これはヨーロッパに行く事は大きな夢だったのもあり、長年居心地が悪かった日本を離れていく様を表現している。また、赤、青、黄色は好きな色でもあり、様々な感情を花言葉に乗せながらその好きな色と共に描きました。
