​Hitoritoiro was made for the CAF award competition. In this pandemic of coronavirus, we suddenly start wearing masks.That makes us to communicate without seeing the face. How do we do that though? Can we even say we do actually understand our family, lovers, and friends in normal situation? My idea came up based on those questions. I created this video in order to show audience how different each person's colour/character by using my practice which is performance. Even though this is my very first time to make original background music and program of interactive art, and it was very difficult to film in this unlimited spaces because of lockdown, I believe it was another opportunity to express my own colour and character.

ひとりといろ はCAF賞に向けて製作された物です。新型コロナウイルスの影響で日々マスクを着用して過ごしていく中で、顔を見ずに人はどうコミュニケーションしているのだろうと疑問に思い制作にあたりました。そもそも家族恋人友達も本当に心の底から’理解’できているのか、人それぞれが持つ’色’をテーマに自分のpracticeであるperformanceをベースに製作した物がこの「ひとりといろ」です。 初めての音楽とInteractive installation制作、緊急事態宣言の影響で限られた撮影場所での撮影等大変でしたがその分また私の色が出たと思っています。
